In this short course, we will illustrate how 3D laser scanning, point clouds, and BIM can be used to reduce risk and add value to projects in the building industry. Subject Matter Experts from the team at Existing Conditions by GPRS will provide participants with the information they need to get the most out of their as-built’s and existing conditions surveys. They'll address common questions and misconceptions related to the use of 3D laser scanning and BIM, while also providing a deep dive into the value of these resources. Course participants will complete this session with a thorough understanding of how to establish a mutual, accurate point of departure on their projects.
